The Huntington Beach Elks Lodge #1959 has been a cornerstone of community service and fellowship since its establishment in 1955.
Rooted in the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity, our mission is to promote the welfare and happiness of our members, quicken the spirit of American patriotism, and cultivate good fellowship.
Our lodge is dedicated to making a positive impact in Huntington Beach through various charitable programs.
We support local schools, organize events for veterans, and assist families in need.
A significant initiative is the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, known as the Purple Pig, which funds therapists and vision screeners to aid children with disabilities.
In alignment with the Elks' national pledge, "So long as there are veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them," our lodge actively supports veterans and military members, especially those in need.
Our volunteers provide direct services to veterans, participate in adaptive sports programs, and contribute to initiatives aimed at assisting homeless veterans.
Our lodge also hosts a variety of events that foster community engagement and camaraderie.
These include the annual Chili Cookoff & Car Show, 4th of July activities, and the Cinderella Tea Party.
Regular gatherings such as Trivia Night, Pub Night, and Friday Dinners offer members opportunities to connect and enjoy shared interests.
With a rich history and a commitment to service, the Huntington Beach Elks Lodge #1959 continues to be a beacon of compassion and goodwill in our community.
